East Riding Country Fair- Day 1

On Friday night we headed down to the lovely Driffield Showground for the East Riding Country Fair, a fabulous 2 day show. The equine section was organised by the team behind the Patrington Mill Shows. Saturday was Inhand day and with over 50 inhand classes- there truly were classes for everyone!

There were some beautiful animals forward ranging from miniature shetlands to a Suffolk Punch!

The Overall Supreme was ruled by Ex-Racehorses- both pictured below. Overall Supreme was the winner of the Ex-hurdler class (On the right) and the Overall Reserve Supreme won the Ex-Flat Racehorse class(On the left).

Infact, the Reserve Supreme of Show has previously won 6 races and still nannies the young horses on the gallops, despite now being a veteran!

The 1st Reserve Supreme in Show was won by this lovely little exmoor who was also Reserve Concours Champion.

It was lovely to meet all of the Patrington Mill gang this weekend who we will be working with over the coming months! Julie and her team were lovely and hugely accommodating to us which we really appreciate! I’m looking forwards to the summer series now! What a great day, topped off with a trip to Wetherspoons in Driffield to upload the images to our website!
